Vermillion has music! That's what I meant by "heavier stuff". Louder, more offensive (from a non-lyrical point of view)music. It actually has some creativity behind it. That's why i don't like a lot of boybands, etc. There's no real skill to it. A drum machine, a guitarist who knows two notes and a singer with some half decent pipes going on about some sensitive Bullshit don't make a good band. Meaningful lyrics, a guitarist who can play a face melting solo, a real drummer, and a singer that can do amazing things with his voice make a band (I just described many of the key elements of Slipknot)
ReplyDeleteListen to a slipknot song (eg. Psychosocial), or a Megdeth song (eg. Sleepwalker), or a Protest The Hero song (eg. Limb for Limb) then tell me your sissy boyband can do that.
